BATTLE AXE THROWING CHRISTCHURCH

At Battle Axe Throwing (BAT) we have 2 types of lanes, 5 lanes are aligned to the World Axe Throwing League (WATL) standard of lane design. The other 4 lanes are digitally projected lanes that project images onto the end grain wooden target blocks (axes stick easily in end grain targets). 

Who can play?

Axe Throwing can be enjoyed by anyone who likes throwing things! We start everyone with a two-handed throw for simplicity. While this may not seem “natural”, it is the easiest to learn. Just like learning to throw a cricket ball, what comes naturally isn’t necessarily the best way to throw. Once everyone can stick the axe, you can compete against each other.
