Bunsen opened in November 2016 with a bang and a roar and is a favourite haunt of central city locals as well as coffee lovers from all over Christchurch. Located in the heritage Clock Tower building of the Arts Centre, we have taken inspiration from the history of the building and created a chemistry den-style establishment. Bunsen specialises in the perfect cup of coffee, pour-over and espresso using our own blend The Dark Horse. Enjoy the taste of Bunsen at home. Bunsen is a licensed venue and we serve a variety of New Zealand wines, beers and cider. We serve a full brunch menu that we adapt with the seasons, featuring daily-changing specials and also a fully stocked cabinet for lighter meals, sweet treats and options for those on the go.
